Deluxe Take Along Swing And Seat – Fisher-Price – Review 1

We purchased the Deluxe Take Along Swing and Seat from Mothercare with the two bunnies as we were unable to find this design anywhere else. Only after we took this home we realised it was a Mother exclusive. (Mothercare do not currently sell this anymore, here is one similar).

The product itself is very easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear. It comes with different tubes that need putting into place. You will need to buy 4 x C batteries as these are not included.

This product has made it much easier for us to take care of our newborn, the six swing speeds and minor vibrations soothes her much easier than just placing her in a chair. To add ease towards our busy lifestyle, there are 10 different tunes and 2 nature sounds to distract the baby from any issues or pain they may feel (especially after their jabs). Sometimes we are unable to just settle her. It acts as both a swing and a chair, but do not put your newborn in it for long periods of time as this may be bad for their back and support.

It is suitable for children up to 9kg and the product is foldable, however we have found this quite difficult and stiff. You push the buttons at the bottom at the back and the frame twists in on itself. The product comes with two rabbits, however they face the wrong way and the baby can only see the back of them. We then added a rattle on one of the rabbits to help our newborn during her grabbing and feeling phase.

Instructions and manual can be found here. (This is a generic guide, but all work the same way)
